Harvest after FloydFest

Mrs. Rabbit and I hightailed it out of town last week for a music festival in Floyd, VA, and while we were away the garden finally got
rain.  Twice, even.  My son (#2) also watered twice.  Way to go, son #2! This morning we picked this massive harvest.  Left to right in the picture below we've got 5 types of tomatoes including yellow, Black Krim, Mortgage Lifter, San Marzano, and Mountain Princess, followed by yellow patty pan squash, yellow crookneck squash, purple asian beans, Kentucky Wonder pole beans, lemon cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, and 3 types of cherry tomatoes including Amy's Apricot, Black Cherry, and Matt's Wild Cherry.

  2. Lovely harvests. And it is really impressive being shown all at once. I have visions of cucumber and tomato eating contests when I look at it.

    1. A fantastic idea...maybe a contest will motivate my sons to eat more veggies.
