Fall Harvests

We had a week of solid rain followed by a week of cooler, but pretty nice weather.  During the wet week, I did not pick at all.  In the past week, I picked twice.

This is my garden loot from October 17.  Snap beans, acorn squash, red amaranth, lettuce, arugula, a red bell pepper, a few cherry tomatoes, and
snow peas.  I'm stoked to be getting leaf vegetables again; salad is often my go-to lunch at work.

Here is the treasure gleaned on October 20...more snow peas, carrots, tomatoes, lots of green beans, and a couple different varieties of small hot peppers.  These carrots turned out short and thick, and we had them with supper tonight.
